The transition from primary to secondary school is a big step. It is important that we get to know your children before they join us, and they also become familiar with their new school and the staff who will be teaching them so the first day of school in September is a positive experience and not too daunting.
To support this process, our new Year 7 joiners will spend two days with us in early July so we can get to know them, remove and give them the chance to ask questions, experience lessons, as well get to know other students and develop their confidence about joining us in September.
We are also hold an informal information evening for our new Year 7 parents in July, which will offer the opportunity to ask questions as well as meet our leadership team.
