ICT Facilities
All areas of the curriculum are catered for. We offer Computer Aided Design and manufacture in Technology, image manipulation equipment in Art and video conferencing facilities in Modern Languages. All students have their own user area to allow them to work on any curriculum PC in the Campus. All Sixth Form students have access to chromebooks to work on during the school day, and there are a small number available for longer term loans. Students are also allowed to bring in their own personal devices, and will have access to the internet, however, this is done at their own risk and school accepts no responsibility for loss or damage.
The Library
The library at Wykham Park is a place for silent study, and students will have at least four study periods a week on their timetable, which should be used wisely. The Library is well equipped with books, ICT equipment, printing and scanning equipment and university prospectuses. There is a Sixth Form specific area of the library where students can study away from the rest of the school.
The Common Room
The Common Room is a Sixth Form only space, and is equipped with a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. Students are able to purchase food, via the School Gateway app, from the Buttery at Break and Lunch, and Free School Meals are available for students who are eligible. The Common Room is a shared space for both Year 12 and Year 13 students, and should be treated as a working room first and foremost.
