Employability Skills Development
The Aspirations Employability Portfolio (AEP) aims to develop all students employability skills, including a good understanding of the nature of different businesses. The focus is on the development of skills required for success in today’s global world such as time management, project management, teamwork and leadership, communications, critical thinking and presentations skills.
All Year 12 students, across the campus, are very fortunate to have an exciting opportunity to work with businesses industry-commissioned projects. These projects form the Aspirations Employability Portfolio (AEP) and the project-based learning takes place once a week. Each project involves students working with, and learning from, real employees of the commissioning company.
The aim is to provide students with a broad experience of the changing world of work and develop innovation and entrepreneurship.
