Further Mathematics A-Level

GCSE Mathematics grade 7 as a minimum though grade 8 or 9 is preferable.

Further Maths students begin to appreciate the connection between different branches of Mathematics and put forth rigorous mathematical arguments using formal proof. They continue to develop their core skills, with a wider range of strategies and techniques, whilst broadening and deepening their applications to real life situations.
We use a variety of approaches: teacher led explanations, modelling good practice, questioning, individual work, interactive games and peer demonstrations.
